Arben Ramadani started taking violin lessons at age six and was
trained in classical music for six years. At the same time he
secretly taught himself to play the piano and fell in love with it.
Switching to piano inspired him to love the work of J.S.Bach,
Bartok and Schönberg.
Coached by the famous jazzpianist John Taylor and Fred Hersch (both Bill Evans' student),  the Kosovar-Albanian pianist has created a context wherein his unique, subtle
and interactive style can be heard. The influence of Albanian
folklore in his compositions and playing defines his music.

Arben played with different musicians amongst whom John Helliwell (Supertramp), Benjamin Herman (New Cool Collective) and Bart Wirtz.
